Virtual_Boy
Try: Disable Port Scan and DOS Protection - ie ticking the check box and therefore turning it off. Not needed and notorious for screwing up both gaming and IPTV. Thanks for that, gave it a try but no change If my xbox's are .0.2 and .0.3 should the starting IP address of 'use router as DHCP server' be left as .0.2 or should I change it to .0.4? Is it not enough to manually assign the xbox a IP address and add it to the 'address reservation' list or do they need adding under 'static routes'? Doing this does fix issues with multiple 360's on Xbox LIVE at the same time but only using the latest firmware 5.01.14 iirc make sure all other settings are default including UPnP being on. WilDDog
Hi all, My Linsys Router is disconnecting the wireless connection about 10 times a day. Can someone advise me on the best wireless Router to buy that's compatible with Xbox Live. Someone did mention Draytek to me? This one in particular http://www.amazon.co...86833037&sr=8-1 I was looking at this Billion one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Billion-BiPAC-7800N-Broadband-Wireless-N/dp/tech-data/B002TOKGL8/ref=de_a_smtd And are Waltons still overly expensive for routers? My Netgear started doing that a few weeks ago, I changed the channel and it's been good since.

itmanx
We have recently been supplying the Netgear Rangemax kit, and so far have been very impressed. Here is an example. One of our clients was runnning a Draytek 2700 series but was losing wireless signal when you moved upstairs, or more than two rooms away. I upgraded the router with one of the rangemax products, and now the wireless extends all the way to the bottom of the garden and then some. That was running on wireless-N however, if your X-box is running wireless-G then you will not be able to take advantage of the additional speed and range of a wireless-N router. Although you can buy a wireless-N USB adapter for the 360.
Jimcalagon
And are Waltons still overly expensive for routers? I think you'll find Waltons are still overly expensive for everything.
