immortalpuppet
I fecking love this story, would love to see the rest of the photo`s aswell, A kidnapped gnome has returned home after seven months - with a photo album of his round-the-world adventure. Missing leprechaun Murphy turned up at grandmother Eve Stuart-Kelso's home after visiting 12 countries. The accompanying album even contained immigration stamps for each destination, together with 48 snaps. Murphy is pictured abseiling down a mountain, standing in a shark's mouth, swimming in the sea, and riding a motorbike. His trip included visits to South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong and Laos. A letter with the statue explained that his globe-trotting escapades were down to "itchy feet". "There's more to life than watching daily commuter traffic and allowing passing cats to urinate on you," it explained. The bizarre tale echoes scenes from the French film Amelie in which a gnome is taken around the world to show him how much he is missing out on in life. Murphy's 'travelling companion' is referred to as The Bear. The only clues to the kidnapper are album pictures of a group of mysterious young men. Mrs Stuart-Kelso, from Longlevens, Gloucester, said she was stunned but relieved. She said: "His feet were missing, but that's no real surprise given that he was sent abseiling down a mountain! "It was the strangest gift I have ever received." The tour guide for the Civic Trust said her three grandchildren would be thrilled to hear of the gnome's adventures. A Gloucestershire police spokeswoman said there had been no report of a gnome going missing. But she added: "Any theft of a person's property, even if it is carried out as a joke, will be treated as a crime by police. "What may seem like a laugh to one person can cause distress to another." Mr. Sausages
Yes, I've certainly overreacted. Thanks for straightening me out. Sorry everyone. Sorry for causing a scene. I just got a bit mad when I thought about how much those poor people must have suffered, but I've calmed down now and realise I shouldn't have gone so far.
