Mutley
Edit - that last post you made shows you probably have a similar mentality to a 10 year old. Don't be ridiculous - I have the mentality of at least a 9 year old. I can prove it by reading warning signs...
Bombay Bad Boy
I went to Australia for a holiday, and I didn't get sunburn because I had a few tanning sessions beforehand. Anything can be dangerous if you have too much of it, this includes alcohol, bananas, kebabs, water etc. The trick is knowing what limits apply to you, and keeping within them. What's not safe for you, may be OK for someone else.
Minnie
As far as I'm aware sunbeds don't stop you from burning they just lessen the chance of you burning as you get the start of a base tan, but it also depends on your skin type as well. Just because you have a couple of sessions on a sunbed doesn't mean you can sit sunning yourself without the risk of sunburn.
