sunset Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 Good call to turn back quickly. I was on an Irish ferry a number of years ago coming back from Dublin via Holyhead. Before we were out of the Liffey they were asking if there was a doctor onboard but they didn't turn back - resulted in a major course change in mid Irish Sea to rendezvous with a rescue helicopter to transfer the person to hospital. It resulted in everybody being delayed by over 3 hours instead of half an hour or so from turning back initially. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
