You're walking to work as usual. Same route, some work-a-day concerns drifting through your mind.

You hear a noise and you look behind you. You see:

- a car on its side coming towards you and landing on its roof one yard away from you and

- another car chasing it down the same one-way street.

Do you :

(a) assume this is normal, despite never having seen it happen in your life before, and dismiss is with a "pah!" and go to work to get those FSA paperworks worked up,

(b) assume that TWO cars driving down the one way street is a coincidence and again, simply assume it's just 'quite odd' or

(c) assume something strange is happening this morning - perhaps better safe than sorry. Run off before any more cars try to kill you. And on reflection conclude that another 76 inches and 'fate's fickle finger' could have had you in A&E or the grave?

Honest answers please.

PS: I also know DG - he's an acquired taste for sure but he's no snowflake (and he kinda' lives for his work) so if he went home, you can assume it was a close run thing.

Most sensible post in the thread. Anyone who does not think (c) is the answer needs help.

It's not his reaction that's so odd or should be surprising people (and even sensible people can act a bit strangely after a shock).  It's talking to the paper at length about the whole thing - rather than just saying how shocking it was and hoping the police get to the bottom of it.

What has the street being one way got to do with things?  If it was two way would no one be trying to kill him?

Drama queen.  Or genuinely expecting a visit ?? And if so, why?

Don't be stupid. You know better than that.

You're in the Twiglet zone.

He thought people were trying to kill him. I'm not saying that in the cold light of day that's a reasonable conclusion, but when two cars come barreling down a one way street at you - who knows?

It's a bit like Neil Down gets a "you have downloaded copyright adult material without a licence - you are required to pay us $950 before 3rd February 2017" notice and he panics and deletes his hard drive.

What... poor trolling there:ban:
