John Wright
It’s the only musical theatre show I’ve ever left at the interval. Dreadful. Over miked, music so loud the words were drowned out. Dialogue was mumbled. £150 a ticket. And it’s not because I’m not hip with hip hop. I enjoyed zoonation’s some like it hip hop so much I went back to see it twice. Staging was amazing. Seats in refurbished theatre were tiny, less legroom than the BA flights to City. And it misses out the big thing that made Hamilton who he was, his long term homoerotic relationship with John Lauren’s.

Wasn't fortunate enough to see it at the theatre, but there were no issues with the volume of the recorded version. I thought the show was well written, well performed, well produced and told an interesting story. I thought there was no real evidence of a relationship between Hamilton and John Laurens?
