  1. So today after Work, I got changed and for heading down to the Temple Garden. When I got Home, I took a quick Picture of my Tray of Cabbage Sprouts which are doing Very Good: First thing I did was put up the Celtic Buddhistic Mantra on my Allotment and started 3 Sticks of Incense Burning. And here is a Closeup of the Celtic Buddhistic Mantra: I then got to it and Planted Three Lavender Plants that I bought: The Lavender is a Perennial Herb so I am putting that in to replace the Basil which turns out to be Annual Herb. I am trying to build a Herb Garden full of Perennial Herbs so I decided to replace the part of the Herb Garden that I had the Basil in with Lavender. Unfortunately, the Rosemarie and Marjoram that I put in last Spring appears to have not survived the Winter so I will have to give those another try. But my Thyme shows signs of doing well: And my Cat Nip is showing signs of Growth: After doing that, I pruned another of their Bushes for them and then did some Zen Meditation. I gave the Monks a Gift of a Package of Incense Sticks and a Check for $10.00 to cover the amount of Cans & Bottles I took in to Exchange to raise a few $$ for their Temple. After getting back Home, I put in the rest of my Cabbage Seeds into the 2 Trays where none of the Seeds I planted came up. I hope to have a lot of Cabbage Plants to put into the Garden as I Love Cabbage Rolls. 3X3
  2. Then there was so many Sprouts coming out of that one Little Pot that I divided them up into Three Little Pots: My one Tray of Echinacea is doing so well that I have started a 2nd Tray of Echinacea. I might have all sorts of Seedlings successfully coming up from my First Tray of Echinacea that I decided to get some more to maybe put up for Sale at the June Buddhist Festival. Unfortunately, there has been Nothing coming up from my Tray of Cayenne Pepper Seeds. It is starting to look like the Cayenne Pepper Seeds I bought were Duds. 3X3
  3. I took some Seeds from a Red Belle Pepper that I was making some Chili Con Carne with and planted them in a Pot as an Experiment to see if Store Bought Belle Pepper Seeds would Grove. Just got Home from Work and this is what I find: Seeds from a Store Belle Pepper Grow NP. 3X3
  4. Awens to All: Got in my First Day of this Spring Season digging in my Allotment. Today, the Birds were starting to do their Mating Calls including several Humming Birds and a couple of Ravens. And I also saw the First Honey Bees today: While doing a session of Weed Pulling, I took note of my Chives stirring and starting to Grow: I dug up the Center Third of my Allotment and after Turning the Soil, put in my Crop of Green Pea Seeds: And here is my Post with the Green Pea Package. They are called "Mr.Big" Variety: It was a Beautiful Afternoon for Digging The Allotment! 3X3

  6. When Trump announced his Candidacy, I posted a Prediction (posted on BowlandCentral Forums) that if the Americans were Stupid Enough to Re-Elect George W Bush for a 2nd Term after he had made a mess of things during his First Term, then I would not put it past the Americans to Elect Trump. My Prediction Came True! Sometimes I don't need my Tarot Deck to make Accurate Predictions. 3X3

Oof! John, that's a bit harsh! Rambling sure, but there's nothing nasty or malicious about the druid. Personally I like that he posts here, he seems a nice fella. If I ever get to go back to Vancouver I'm going to invite him for a drink.

So when were You in Vancouver?

Maybe someday, I might happen back to IoM and I will want to Look You Up.

  11. Awens to 2bees:

Your Hop-Tu-Naa Celtic Cross Spread has been done and the Fine Details been PMed to You.

I feel this Spread indicates that a Close Loved One has You Feeling Reserved and Defensive and are now becoming Introverted towards that Person.  But You will have Good Resources from some Good Comrades who will Aid You in Defending Yourself and getting the Comforts of Life that You may be Wishing for.

Thus Concludes Your Tarot Card Spread and during this Reading, I have discovered how Great Manx Radio is for helping to set up a Good Atmosphere for doing a Tarot Card Reading.

  12. Someone on our BC Forums posting this Interesting Link: https://www.corpun.com/manx.htm The Birch is no longer used in the Isle of Man. This arises from a Court Case in 1978, in which it was held that Birching was a Breach of Human Rights. There was an attempt to get round the ruling by the Manx Authorities, who said that henceforth the Victims of Birching would be allowed to keep their Trousers on (Birching had always been on the Bare Buttocks). This was in fact never implemented, and no further Birchings took place until the Birching Law was finally repealed in 1993. 3X3
  13. They were saying that the UK was Finished in the 1980s and the UK is still around. Since then, the UK finished paying off if 'Lend/Lease' WW2 Debt to the USA and has not been doing too bad IMO. So knock it off with the Doom and Glooming! 3X3
  14. Awens to All: Here is a Picture of my First Harvesting of Fresh Green Peas that I picked last Saturday: There are a lot more Pods that are filling out so I will be Picking a lot more in the Near Future. And the Sacred Celtic Sabbath of Lughnasad is the Celebration of the Reaping of the First Early Harvests so my Picking my First Harvest of Green Peas is the way I am starting my Lughnasad Celebrations. Namaste! 3X3
  15. Actually, Spinach is way Over Rated! I actually did some Research into Spinach to see if it has any Wonderful Medicinal Properties to it and I found out the following: Although is does not make you Big and Strong as depicted in the Popeye Cartoons, Spinach is relatively Rich in Nitrogenous Substances, in Hydrocarbons, and in Iron. It is thus more Nourishing than other Green Vegetables. It is a valuable part of the Diet for People who are suffering Anemia. Not only is Spinach good for Anemia because of its Iron Content, but also for its Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is known to have a Chemical Formula remarkably similar to that of Hemoglobin, and it is stated that the Ingestion of Chlorophyll will raise the Hemoglobin of the Blood without increasing the Formed Elements. But of Herbal Medicinal Benefits, Spinach has relatively few. Of Spinach, Nicholas Culpeper wrote: It is more used for food than medicine, being a good boiled sallad, and much eaten in the spring, being useful to temper the heat and sharpness of the humours; it is cooling and moistening, diuretic, and rendersthe body soluble. 3X3
  16. It is not that they are Happy about it. Those that usually Constantly Argue, Belittle and Throw Their Weight Around all Day Shouting at People are usually 'Sociopaths'. 3X3

  21. We got a lot of Snow last Winter but usually in the Lower Mainland of the Pacific West Coast we get more Rain than Snow. But the rest of Canada gets really Cold and lots of Snow. Right now, the Temperatures average about 20* Celsius which is the perfect Temperature for Sowing Crops and Gardens. 3X3
  22. Here is my Allotment this morning after I posted my Celtic Buddhist Dedication Sign: My Green Peas are doing Great and there are some Jerusalem Artichoke is coming up. I Planted in the last of my Romaine Lettuce Seeds in one ditch effort to see if I can get some Romaine Lettuce going. I found a Large Korean Wild Sesame Sprout in the Garden in another spot of the Allotment. So I dug in some more Manure Soil into the Korean Wild Sesame area of the Allotment and then dug up the Korean Wild Sesame Sprout I found and put it into its proper area. Here is a Closeup of my Celtic Buddhist Dedication Sign: I then spent the rest of the day pulling Weeds out of the Temple Building Septic Field and then did a planting of some Herbs: Here is the Lemon Balm: Here is the Thyme: Here is the Oregano: And here is a Rose that Grew In by itself: When they Grow, the Herbs can be Harvested and Packaged Up and Sold for make a few $$$ for the Community Garden. 3X3
