  1. I see, so why would they move to the island to avoid tax, but have a higher cost of living by doing so, and moving away from friends and family to boot?
  2. Yes, how do you think I ended up there? People move for work, not to get away from work and start afresh. And why would they move to a more expensive place like the IoM if finance is their driving force?
  3. People are going to leave Scotland and move to the IoM? 😆
  4. Right enough, high earners leaving so that they can put their kids through Uni in Eng.....ah, I see an issue. Ach well at least their council ta.......oh dammit. So you're saying they're going to move to England to be worse off?
  5. Only the remaining entryists will be disagreeing with this, it's over, Agent Sturgeon has done her job https://archive.ph/isjyI
  6. They have to keep NI, otherwise it's game on for Scotland, that's the issue they have to deal with.
  7. Which is why they won't let the English vote. The UK Gov would have to come out and admit why they don't want Scotland to go it alone, and simultaneously kill off Unionism in Scotland
  8. LOL. I bet you'll say you're not influenced by the media either eh? The UK (You must mean England here?) does not subsidise Scotland, Scotland is a net contributor, a massive one, which is why the English treasury can;t let us go
  9. Why should we accept that? Just because Yoons say so doesn't mean we have to go along, the Yes side have said all along - as does the signed Smith commission - that we can hold one whenever voters demand one, which has been done in every single election since 2012
  10. This isn't correct, she chose to make that a deal breaker, every single time, which is why we are where we are
  11. Little did I know when this topic was started, just how useless Nicola Sturgeon would turn out to be. Some say it's deliberate, and there's certainly mileage in that, she's had numerous open goals, but always finds a way to make sure the keeper gets back on his line in time. Six years she's spent on the mental GRR bill, but FOI requests showed no work was being done on independence, a fraud, a plant, or just incompetent? We'll probably never know the truth, but history will not be kind on her 8 years as FM
  12. Just for you, here's the link to the original Scottish Independence thread, maybe go berate Manxweegie for missing it and starting this one
