  1. I suggest the grapevine in Castletown. Good selection there.
  2. Fuck me. We need to invent a new condition....UAFP.... ultra angry forum poster. The prescription of course would be a decent bottle of white lol.
  3. Is there a full moon tonight ?
  4. What is this alternative medicine Lixxx? Chinese? Witchcraft? Shamen?
  5. I think you're special if that helps. You have some interesting posts loaf - so I think you might well have caught up throuigh the University of Life. Aww, Albert!! You are a real softie at heart! or are you just trying to 'butter' loaf up? If kids went out and climbed trees and played in fields, they would soon wear some of that excess energy off, but I do feel sorry for those parents and siblings of kids who do have ADHD, usually as an addition to autism/Aspergers. They really need the drugs prescribed for them. So as well as having autism (which was probably brought about by injecting a cocktail of chemicals into their bloodstream at such a young age) we then prescribe them some more chemicals to help with the symptoms of the last lot. Not a bad business model this pharmaceutical lark is it? Yup. And it's a business that will save your life one day. It probably has already. Or do you want to go back to the bad old days?
  6. I agree helix. And it goes away with age. Dope them up I say. Sorry. I mean treat them. It will be many years before we know if the doctors were correct of course. But they usually are.
  7. Albert saved up his "specialness" for his old age:) We should all feel special that he chooses to share it with us lol
  8. To be honest I think it´s probably a good thing. When I was at school there was hardly a day went by without some twit kicking off and disrupting the class for maybe half an hour at a time. Better to dope the selfish wee buggers up so the majority can get on with things I say. And yes, I was bullied at school.......
  9. Been approved for a work permit in another country.

  10. But China is a strange place regarding revolution. It has had it's revolution but needs to work hard to prevent another one. You seem to be a revolutionary LDV. What do you think? Can a revolutionary government ever become the establishment? And if it does, is another revolution needed? The Chinese peasants are still waiting for what Chairman Mao promised them. Democracy, free healthcare, free education etc etc. But Cuba on the other hand...
  11. Me thinks the US are pushing Taiwan into a confrontation with China very soon. I think there is a lot in that, but I suspect it's the other way around. What if, after China has bailed out the American and European economies, it decides that it wants to formally re-integrate Taiwan with the mainland? China is probably in a position where it could destroy the global economy overnight. Would America really want to risk what's left of it's economy to get involved in what is, after all, an unfinished civil war from more than 60 years ago?
  12. And China have an aircraft carrier now.... with a few more under construction. And they launched the first module of their own space station into space yesterday.... And erm.... sorry for my previous rants on this thread :-}
  13. Housing Guru :-) Nop.... too long renting :-)

  14. I seem to recall the TT3D people using footage on Conner Cummins' horrific TT crash in the trailer for the film. Now, I am pro TT etc.... but I do find it "not right" that companies are using footage such as this for commercial gain. But I have to admit to watching many of the clips on YouTube. Not to watch the crash, but to watch the marshals and their actions. To try to learn from them, hopefully to improve my marshalling.
  15. If I leave the Isle of Man, can I still post on MF?

  16. Only for lack of confidence http://blogs.wsj.com/chinarealtime/2011/05/19/team-america-meet-team-china-common-ground-on-somali-pirates/ China will step up its foreign intervention as it gains confidence in it's military power (as any big country does). I disagree Alias. But at the same time I do agree.... Not unusual for me:-) I think China wants to be on the international stage... but on the financial stage, not the military. The Party depends on the support of the PLA to stay in power. But they have fustrated generals etc, so they need to give them something to do. So why not send them pirate hunting? China are well behind the USA in terms of weapons technology. And they both know it. Taiwan has American weapons. And the Americans use every chance they get to show them off. I personally think the Gulf wars were not so much about oil.... they were about the USA showing China what they have. The Americans think China wants Taiwan. Chinese Generals maybe do, to save face. But the top party guys want money power. And they are getting it. Rapidly. When western countries go bankrupt the Chinese turn up. With a chequebook, not a carrier battle fleet. Who do you think will win in the long run? And yes, I do know China lunched their first carrier this month :-)
  17. Learning is good...but it depends on the teacher. I try to teach myself through experience.... and I could not have a worse teacher :-)
  18. I'll admit I know little about China, but are you that confident that China (or any other country) does not abuse 'human rights' merely because you have not had the displeasure of experiencing it first hand? You've stated how big a country China is, and I would view it as ignorant to say that the country does not have these problems, despite the evidence from many bodies to the contrary. Your statements just help ease the pressure on such governments, when things may not be as blissful down the road. Of course I am not saying there are no problems. There are problems everywhere. But what I am saying is that things are nowhere as near as bad as Chinahand would have you believe.
  19. Exactly Chinahand. They are not interested in me... a juvenile keyboard hero posting about "Harmonious society" on a western forum in English. And that is my point. Anyone reading your posts would think China is a locked down society with half the population in jail for political dissent. But that is simply not the case. People in China do talk about things, just as people in the west do. You need to rise above western propaganda. Imagine the outcry if the Chinese Government were to send an Army team into a foreign country to execute a terror suspect without trail.... Freedom of speech in China is changing rapidly. Largely thanks to the internet. Yes you can be arrested for posting stuff in Chinese on Chinese blogs. But did the UK not jail a guy who tweeted about blowing up an airport because his flight was delayed? A student in Scotland was jailed for downloading bomb making instructions. "wo baba bu shi Li Gang"
  20. Try what Chinahand? I just done it. I posted the classic "banned words", on a western forum from China. I don't give a shit about empirical data. You are the one that is out of touch with modern China. Not me or Evil Goblin.. Lets try another one.... Free Tibet :-) Still alive....

  22. Data is boring..... I'm off to have a fag and a beer with the oppressive security guards.... they have some wicked illicit rice wine... and I only have to promise to be harmonious to get some....... I can do that...hic :-)
  23. This is the only point you put forward I consider worth answering. I am on my private netbook, not a company network.. Via wifi. With no proxy. I can mention Liu Xiabo, Dalia lama, Tiannamin Square Massacare, Tibet oppression, falun Gong.... what else do I need to say, to tell you that the China you maybe knew is not the China I know. The China of today is not the China you think it is Chinahand. China changes every year... for the better. You should visit China Chinahand. Not read about it in books.... sirens getting louder.
  24. What 300 monks?... I kowtow to your spamming capacity PaulD. Are you Keyboarder on steroids?
  25. I have 2 good facebook friends in Saudi. We do FB chat, Bobba and MSN on a regular basis. Get a grip Chinahand. The world is not all doom and gloom. The internet is changing the world. Actually, an interesting anecdote.. While the internet in China was locked down during the Nobel peace prize ceremony... the itunes store worked perfectly. I wonder why? I downloaded Sgt Peppers :-)
