Watched Eagle Eye last night. Bit silly, but good effects.

Watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes last night. Brilliant movie,

Watched Limitless the other night on DVD, pretty good movie.

I wonder that myself. He killed enough bad guys on the boat and there was enough shooting to alert the actual crew, maybe they were hiding on the bridge. He obviously got off okay and there is a sequel planned.

Watched Taken, the other night. It was a French production, but in English. I thought it rather watchable. I like Luc Besson movies with The Fifth Element probably being in my top ten.

Been watching 'The Pacific' on DVD (Love Film keep sending me them). Found it pretty good and doesn't show the American soldiers in a good light all the time (stealing gold teeth out of dead Japanese, having breakdowns during the fighting, etc). Pretty good. However just like Band of Brothers, other than the main one or two characters I can never work out who is who, as they are always covered in grime and blood.

Does that work well, only watched it in German with the English Subtitles.

Watched Shutter Island last night, quite enjoyed it. The continuity seemed off at times, I don't know if that was intentional or not.

Watched the remake of the 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' Nowhere near as good as the original. They make it appear very easy to stop an alien who is intent on destroying all human life, just hug your step son and the alien's heart melts and every things okay with the world again.

I wonder where the money is coming from to pay from it. The Sefton Group has massive debts. A few months ago they bought property valued at £37.4 million for £1.96 million, no doubt the difference is a loan they have to pay back. http://www.iomtoday.co.im/isle-of-man-busi...olio.4468413.jp The above articles says they project £1 million rental profit and they also state the new properties bring in £2.44 million rental a year, so a very large proportion will be used to service the debt. I'm afraid I will believe in the new 'Wave' when I am actually able to walk in the door.

Didn't think much of it myself. Thought the story didn't get going and the baddie turned out to be a Utility Company and what was that building at the end made out of to make it blow up so easily.

Only been two or three times, but I don't think there's anything like pub food on the menu. It may look like a pub, but I have had worse food in some expensive restaurants. I couldn't fault the meals at all. Didn't have any problems with the staff either.

Once you have paid for the cost of the direct flights, you wont be able to afford to ski! Just been on the flybe website and entered a couple of dates, going out on the 9. February and coming back on the 16. February comes to £481.89. A week later it comes to £316.89. Flight times aren't bad though.
