I wonder if there is a plan to build some eco friendly houses and this estate is to be sacrificed to make way for them. Until suitable and acceptable alternative housing is found in the Peel area these houses should be left alone with immediate emergency repairs done to keep them safe if necessary.

I was repeating what a young person said when I used the expression ….everyone is using them….a bit of a generalisation I know but they were referring to fellow students and when kids get crazes they tend to follow the trend I was not suggesting adults were getting hooked on them to keep in fashion or be cool but kids certainly do. I would not expect you to indulge in such wanton behaviour Voice of Reason even with the fruity flavours on offer 🤣.

Vapes are a big problem amongst our young people they are the latest craze and there are reports that they are as bad as tobacco. They are really addictive, I know someone who is having problems with a young relative who says everyone is using them. They should be banned for sale to under 18s instead they are flavouring them to attract youngsters they are replacing one bad addictive habit for another.

They were going to make it available to the public. I thought it sounded like a good idea but what do I know. It certainly did not suit someone’s plans but in the open and transparent Island we live in we would be aware of why this good idea which was not going to cost the tax payer any money was dismissed by Barber.
