Ridiculous over kill, it’s not in on Merseyside which has much higher population which has a yellow warning. Another day off for most government workers, nice long weekend!

I think the average public sector pension is only around £15k although there are some huge ones there’s also some very low ones.

Everything costs money and next the nurses will be threatening strikes as they won’t accept 4% when doctors on 10 times their salary get 8%. Taxes will need to go up to provide the healthcare system we want.
