There are 48,000 meters on the Isle of Man. The ones being fitted are smart only that they will communicate with a remote unit that will show your usage. The other smarty part where it sends readings to Manx Utilities is not fitted yet. The meter reader will be calling for a few years yet.

NED,s as good as they are cannot drive through their ideas and are reliant on EDs to delivery.

This is a quiet scandal and if this was a private company the Gov would be jumping all over them. At that price a lot if people will not use it. An ezy flight booked in advance is a lot cheaper. RIP off there should be price controls.

A lot of people fed up with no or late papers have gone digital. Newspapers I heard are down 20%. Printing on island vs freight charges. Freight charges are way cheaper. That’s why even the Courier is printed off island.

Listen, if I am not travelling, the boat may be cancelled due to weather. If I am booked on the boat weather cancellations are ridiculous and would have never happen to the Ben, King Orry or the Lady of Man.

No problem they knock on my door and as they had some left over they would tarmac the inside of my garage.

Once the tarmac has hardened they will be back and grind it flat and seal the edges.
