  1. I agree that pleasant as Andy Wint is, he too often appears willing to counter with answers like ' well I suppose they are doing their best ' ......... which tends to close down the issue without further delving and leaves the contributor no further forward. Bring back Stu Peters ........ as we need investigative questioning minds to open up debates and try to improve things. WHAT UK RADIO STATION WOULD NOT EXPLOIT THE QUALITIES OF SUCH A CHARACTER ........... ONLY in the Isle of Man Because we can .......... 😥😢😭
  2. Would she have qualified for a DHSC Loan in order to buy it - as an urgent necessity to avoid depressive love sickness?
  3. I anticipate the Minister justifying the dangerous delay to injecting the over 80's due to the vital need to set up a 'Taskforce' to investigate expressed safety concerns over the design of the planned vaccination hub. As a result, to avoid any delay, he is using the skills of an existing team already in place and resolving the delay to restoring everyday swimming facilities for families and children at the world famous NSC, as these incredible people have already amassed years of experience at problem solving. ....... ONLY in the Isle of Man Because we can.......😅😆😋🥰🤫🤫🤫
  4. I recently saw it reported that even W.H.O. and Pfizer accepted that in "exceptional circumstances" the Pfizer vaccine interval could actually be 6 weeks between injections. Do our Politicians & Clinicians not accept that a Deadly Global Pandemic is an "exceptional circumstance". Why dont we get the W.H.O. experts here and put them right ! ……….. ONLY in the isle of Man Because we can ………… 😂😅🤣
  5. Does real change have to be by Revolution in order to overcome 'The Law' obstructing justice ? 🤥

  6. We have 42 Registered Vets on island. Vets appear more highly trained that GPs. On the spot without referral elsewhere, they perform Diagnosis, Surgery, Biopsies, Birthing, X-Rays, Prescribing of Medication and INJECTIONS.............. and on all kinds of creatures from Snakes to human like Apes. Although there ought to be no shortage of Vaccinators, this profession is undoubtedly as good as having your Anti-Covid injection given to you by a top GP or Surgeon. And why are we spending money on converting buildings when we have underused Churches, Halls and Schools. Large Churches like St Mary's have aisles with loads of space and masses of church bench seating ............. so marshalling seating at a distance and keeping movement one-way ( up one aisle and down another ) is so easy. With a medication trolley on wheels, the vaccinator could move down the aisle just stopping every few benches to inject the next seated patient. Such large buildings, so much space etc., The trouble is in might cost almost NOTHING ............... so our Lords and Masters would miss out on spending LOADS OF TAXPAYERS MONEY. Well there's no joy in that is there for any MHK ? ................. ONLY in the Isle of Man Because we can .......... 🤣 😂😅
  7. For those interested in Vaccine efficacy over days/weeks you might enjoy "More or Less" on BBC Radio 4. There is a podcast. And the latest programme actually revealed how Vaccine Efficacy after only 1 Jab had been UNDERESTIMATED ...... even by the Manufacturers. Because, when averaging its effectiveness after 3 / 4 weeks they had included days 1 to 10 when the vaccine hadn't had time to begin to work. By including those "none effective" days they unwittingly reduced the Efficacy Calculation. You need to leave those days out of the calculation and only start measuring the success of the people Vaccinated compared to those Not Vaccinated AFTER YOU HAVE GIVEN THE VACCINE TIME TO START WORKING !!
  8. Pat on the back for Julie Edge 🥰 Despite our best efforts, if there were to be a surprise, uncontrollable mass outbreak with ICT bed capacity etc. all taken, there would be all hell to play if we had life-saving unused vaccine stock just lying on fridge shelves. We urgently need the government to publish and update daily the data on on our Vaccination Programme Efficiency e.g., - Vaccine Arrival Dates & Quantities (Daily & Cumulative data) - Daily and Cumulative Injections - Average time taken in days from Vaccine Arrival to Injection If we really are doing that well, let's publish it and boast about it
  9. And unfortunately the John Wright vaccination statement that "There actually isn't a rush" can only be stated with any authority if happen to be a clairvoyant. This Virus is often spread by people showing NO SYMPTOMS and even by people WHO HAVE NOT INDICATED COVID IN THEIR LAST TEST. So.............until we develop a helmet to wear with a flashing light that begins to blink 5 days before the transmitting person actually breaks out with Visible Symptoms.................it is difficult to be in total control of the epidemic. Covid infection can accelerate at surprising speed and that growth becomes geometric as more and more contacts spread it covertly. Yes we can stick our head in the sand, ignore the atrocious death rate in countries where the virus has got out of control, and just say to ourselves there is no hurry. But if you had been bitten by a snake that "might" be one that is often fatal and the Doctor had the Life Saving Anti-venom injection lying on the shelf in his Fridge...................I am the kind of person that would harry him him to inject me NOW, not say " Wait until you see me wrything in agony on the floor doc before you inject me in case I am one those who might survive".
  10. I love it when zillions of countries are already using Pfizer Vaccine, and even falling out with fellow EEC countries over stolen allocations etc., so desperate are they to get the life saving injections into their citizens' arms. Yet IoM needs to study it for days/weeks in order to bring all their additional medical expertise to bear on the World Dash to Vaccinate using this WHO approved product. .............. ONLY in the Isle of Man, because we can 🤣 .................
  11. I think you are interpreting the OAZ Vaccine 52% effective incorrectly. As i understand it the 52% refers to people who displayed ........ Little or No Symptoms. Although the other 48% did display some symptoms NO ONE DIED AFTER HAVING OAZ Vaccine. I don't mind being a little bit ill if I am in the "Did not Die" data column.
  12. Does anyone know if the 4 film crew members who were sleeping in the back of a van "to save their overnight expense money" would have counted as "Bednights" in justifying the contribution of the Film Industry to the local economy ??????
