  1. Who cares what a pathetic cunt like you thinks either. No wonder hardly anyone bothers posting on a forum full of dumb miserable bastards talking out of date shite.

  3. Ground zero junkie land.
  4. Likely as you seem to be some angry internet prick who seems to think their opinion on anything counts when it clearly doesn’t.
  5. Really? So the person from Glen Vine called Poole-Wilson who is in court over injuring someone in this traffic incident isn’t the father in law of the deputy chief minister, also called Poole-Wilson who also lives in Glen Vine?
  6. No you didn’t. You sound like the poster Banker on here. Denying facts and making up false scenarios. If you are / were a civil servant (not NHS or Police etc) in the public sector scheme before GUS you paid nothing but 1.5% which was a contribution to your 4x death in service. The actual employee pension contribution was zero. Nothing.
  7. You seem to have a complete lack of understanding. What is posted above is 100% factual.
  8. No you didn’t. At best you paid 1.5% of salary for death in service cover linked to your pension. But that was to provide death benefits only. But you would have paid nothing in actual pension contributions because the contribution level was zero. It was the same for MHKs before 2012. Civil servants only started paying actual contributions when GUS was set up in 2012. Before that. Nothing. Zero. Zip. The pension for those people is a 100% freebie they paid nothing for.

It’s now basically a Chinese manufacturing operation with an IOM headquarters where they can book their global profits at zero rate corporation tax.
  10. EVERY civil servant of any grade. Excluding police, teachers, NHS, fire etc. But basically every public sector worker before 2012 paid nothing.
  11. They would you’d have officers crawling all over you. You might even be served with a de-lap notice by Douglas Council. But here in fantasy government land there’s an “asset” they think they can get an over market rent on even though it’s completely shagged.
  12. Every civil servant who worked for government before 2012 paid absolutely zero in pension contributions. That’s at least a few thousand people who will now be retired and receiving a pension. So it is a benefit. They contributed nothing.
  13. That’s due to weather not operators deliberately running slow boats because of farcical net zero obligations.

They will still need an IOM holding company thought to book all those global profits tax free.
  15. Yep. £7,000 to rent what is a derelict property in disrepair for two weeks. More fantasy “business” deals by civil servants.
  16. It is if you haven’t paid for any of it. Like many of them.
  17. As a politician he is the biggest tosser on IOM Twitter by a mile.

I never understood how someone who worked at the airport was allowed to set up in competition to the airport parking.
  19. That would only be a few grand. This is over £80K. Wouldn’t might but the registry is a government department so how can they not know when someone has died? As I said above Aviva managed to reclaim against a dead family member in three months. This is just another example of staggering government inefficiency when it comes to themselves. Yet some poor single mum is dragged through the courts and shamed in the papers for a benefits oversight.
  20. The last of the big boys!
  21. Yes it’s benefit fraud. But civil servant benefit fraud doesn’t get you on the front page of the Courier portrayed as a scummer.
  22. Really, in five years? When a relative of mine died Aviva wrote within three months to ask for the annuity over payment back. But then again that’s the real world not civil servant land.
  23. But we still have some lovely 1.6% green bond money lying around. That can only get allocated to green things. Shiny shiny new green things. You can see where this is all going a mile off.
  24. Jersey’s Condor Ferries was going to but found a work around. Because when you don’t work for government you find work arounds to fix these issues.
  25. In the last five years. But only £118K of it has been paid back by our ever so trustworthy retired civil servants https://www.three.fm/news/isle-of-man-news/government-overpaid-190000-in-public-sector-pensions-over-five-years/
