  1. It will be reported everywhere. Are you thinking that’s going to happen in the next few weeks or that it is already being covered up?
  2. And they have published their new menu.

Are engineers ever likely to want or be politicians? The two things seem diametrically opposed to me. I wouldn’t read too much into keys (people who like to be the centre of attention) not being full of engineers, IT people or mathematicians
  4. There you go with your “facts” again 😂
  5. There you go with your “facts” again 😂
  6. There are people who think government should step in and help them. Its insane
  7. Which viable businesses have failed?
  8. If I was coming from Colby, Ballabeg or Port Wein I would take the Castletown bypass and then the new Ballaugh bypass. I wouldn’t go through Poachers pocket.
  9. So much rubbish spouted here. They really don’t do themselves any favours. Quote from FB. Andy Saunders from Quids ” If anyone has been following the LVA's campaign properly you will see that the majority of the suggestions we are fielding are to support our whole local economy and people. I am proud of what we are trying to achieve. Like adding an additional tax allowance and NI allowance for people taking secondary employment. Getting people into 2nd jobs and allowing them to keep most of the money will resolve two major issues on the Island. Or a separate rate on Energy consumption for heavy users that still don't reach industrial levels of usage. Handy for all businesses. Or Increasing tax allowances and NI thresholds so people earning less than LIVING wage aren't top rate tax payers. Money in people's pockets. Or making freight and travel to the Island more affordable. The government have stated all help must be "Sustainable, Fair and Affordable." I totally agree, and I suggest that our government should live by the same rules. But no the Government wage bill is rising by £71million this year alone. £550million goes to paying their staff. £6.5k from each of us man, woman or child. Let that sink in, how Sustainable, Fair and Affordable is that? When the rest of us low, medium earners and small businesses have to pay for it?”
  10. Ramsey has another new restaurant opening in a few weeks, then Barbary Coast.
  11. No it’s not. Get your facts right 😂
  12. Did you even read what you were replying to?
  13. Hmmmm https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-64373950
  14. It will if we increase it with more old retired people. That is the last thing the island needs. We don’t want to end up like Japan
