I would think there will be a good few people looking in the situations vacant column shortly and this includes civil servants as well as polititions. After listening to the whole of Hansard whilst still thinking that the government has handled the whole pandemic in a satisfactory matter I am now left thinking how much professional and academic expertise have we missed out on. This needs to change very quickly.

Most of the trade is not being soaked up by the Swan, 3 to 4 Central regulars are using the Swan but the rest are using the Plough and the Buffs Club which adds up to lost business for the brewery.

I can honestly tell you she did not have a clue, I along with 8 to 10 others were witness to her receiving the news over her mobile phone and she was visibly shocked when she came of the call. No, they have not been turfed out on the street but that does not hide the fact that the Brewery have totally mishandled the situation with no thought for their employee and her family.

Are you for real, although I enjoy going to Truth and as yet have not been to Fyn or Good Stuff I would hardly class them as public houses, so no real comparison there.

Pity the landlady of the Central had to find out from an outside source after it was advertised on the estate agents website. Another new low in the history of employer/employee relations at the brewery.

Lightning McQueen,I am glad you brought this up,I travel over the mountain at least twice a day on weekdays and for the last three weeks at least we have had these matrix signs warning us of loose sheep at the Gooseneck or elsewhere on the mountain. As yet I have yet to come across one (maybe it's the mist),but if this is true somebody needs to be having a hard word with the owner of the offending livestock.Can you imagine the same sign being shown whilst the TT races are on? Or maybe it is a speed restriction thing.
