manxman2
Roswell? Lol! keep going slim i am sure between you and china you will manage to shift the thread onto orbs roswell alien adbuctions etc etc etc .. much easier to mock then rather than destroy my claim of technology being implimented in space. just typical slim style .. you wont even try to argue corsos points. .. or discredit him as you cannot .. so fill your posts with LOLs instead. .. thing is tho corso believed what he wrote .. a man with all these titles to his credit. Army Intelligence officer, former Head of Foreign Technology at the U.S. Army's Research and Development Department at the Pentagon. Four years Director of Intelligence on President Eisenhower's White House National Security Staff keep LOLLING slim as your baseless scorn makes much more sense.. and incase we forget.. he spent the last few weeks/months of his life writing about his lifetimes work when the official secrets act was meaningless to him .. conscience must have got the better of him .. dying can do that.. philip corso http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_J._Corso j edgar hoover. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Edgar_Hoover Colonel Philip Corso Army Intelligence officer, former Head of Foreign Technology at the U.S. Army's Research and Development Department at the Pentagon. Four years Director of Intelligence on President Eisenhower's White House National Security Staff "Let there be no doubt. Alien technology harvested from the infamous saucer crash in Roswell, N.Mex., in July 1947 led directly to the development of the integrated circuit chip, laser and fibre optic technologies, particle beams, electromagnetic propulsion systems, depleted uranium projectiles, stealth capabilities, and many others. How do I know? I was in charge! I think the kids on this planet are wise to the truth, and I think we ought to give it to them. I think they deserve it." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Day_After_Roswell is the book corso published. a crisis of conscience..? .. or a pack of lies from a man with such a distinguished and honourable career.. .. i think he published because he knew he was dying which he did die less than a year later.. And to second corso’s assertion .. in a hand written memo obtained under the freedom of information act. J Edgar Hoover Former Director of the FBI "We must insist upon full access to discs recovered. In the LA case the Army grabbed it and would not let us have it for cursory examination." Edited June 16, 2009 by manxman2

Slim
just typical slim style .. you wont even try to argue corsos points. I've replied, you ignored it. People like you don't want to discuss these things, you've made your mind up already. You basically don't understand science, you don't have much in the way of background knowledge or, I'm guessing, education. So these kind of 'revelations' fit perfectly into your world view. You can't even drive the quotes system on this board let alone hold up your side of a rational discussion about alien technology. It's bollocks, aliens didn't give us lasers. The scientific development of lasers from theory to reality is very well documented and to suggest that the gifted people who advanced this technology were gifted it is a depressing reaction to their achievements. What you're picking up is random noise and speculation and blatant cashing in on people like you who want to believe. Be happy with your beliefs, I'm sure they make you feel like you're part of something big, that you're one of the few who've broken through the bullshit to see the 'truth'. Way to go you! Chinahand
Manxman2 - who is out to make a few bucks from the credulous - Geoffrey Dummer Jack Kilby, Robert Noyce, Charles Townes, Nikolay Basov, Aleksandr Mikhailovich Prokhorov, Arthur Leonard Schawlow, Gordon Gould, Theodore Maiman. These are just the development of the integrated circuit and the laser. I work in engineering, I know the teamwork required to develop complex ideas. The idea that Mr Corso can turn up with a load of alien bits and back-engineer these things is a ridiculous idea. Please note - he didn't write the book - it was ghost written for him by a Roswell conspiracist. Who knows what his state of mind was, was he amused by the whole idea and saw it as a joke as the Guardian implies, was he taken in, was he out for the money. But to say the most likely explanation is that the book is true is deluded big time. Thousands of people worked for years developing the technologies you talk about - they published papers, were awarded Nobel Prizes, but you think it was all a cover for alien technology. Dilusional. Slim
Why don't you respond to the points China and I have made, rather than just post youtube crap? You accuse me of googling, yet don't appear to offer any sort of coherent understanding of the subject and rely on copy and pasting to put forward your beliefs. With the development of the laser, do you think all those involved were part of some sort of conspiracy including Albert Einstein? Why do you think your ten mins on youtube can counter a lifetime of physics study?

Aldrin told David Morrison, an NAI Senior Scientist, that the documentary cut the crew's conclusion that they were probably seeing one of four detached spacecraft adapter panels. The crew was told that their S-IVB upper stage was 6,000 miles away. However, the panels were jettisoned before the S-IVB made its separation maneuver, so this panel would closely follow the Apollo 11 spacecraft until its first midcourse correction." Nice objective reporting there. Dave
