P.K.
....But why do 'supercars' all look more or less the same (the Italians seem to get it a bit better)? Is it because they like grey paint or is it that modern aerodynamics = same basic body shape. Even Mercedes seem to have imitated Toyota (Lexus version) these days. Basically the same CADAM systems are being given the same set of aerodynamic problems and hardly surprisingly they're coming up with the same solutions! Saw a dark blue V12 E-type burbling along the other day. Original chrome, wire wheels, the lot. That bonnet just goes on and on. Coming up for 40 years old and they still look stunning imho and that's the point. Modern cars are all starting to look the same i.e. a bit bland and I think you have to go back to find that magical blend of style and function. Sure performance-wise, safety, comfort etc etc new supercars are in a different league but that's how to look at it, it is a different league so comparisons aren't really valid. It's just a question of what rocks your boat. Mind you, some of these Benny's are in danger of drowning in their own drool....
