Sebrof
A woman who kept a bear, a lion, and a tiger in small cages at her house has been killed by the bear. Th local game warden said: "I don't know what makes an individual want to have a pet or animal like this in captivity. I just don't." Nor do I. Perhaps her death will spur the authorities into clamping down on this sort of madness. S
La_Dolce_Vita
I think the bear has made a good start. Good riddance.

Mr. Sausages
The best thing about the internet is the ability to link to different websites, and share sources of information. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-New...115399806?f=rss The beast was shot and killed. Ms Walz also owned a Bengal tiger and an African lion, and had licences to keep them.

%age
That link is a typical newspaper trick. It shows "A black bear, similar to the animal that attacked in Pennsylvania". The bear in the picture has kind eyes and looks rather cuddly in a petting farm sort of way.
La_Dolce_Vita
I wonder what the bear REALLY looked like then.

Most mammals have the ability to appear docile, and some have the ability to rip your arms off. A bear is one of them.

Stavros
"They are wild animals and they're very powerful and they could easily destroy your day." Granted, they certainly fucked thinks up for the Vietnamese but saying Americans are 'wild' animals is going a bit too far I think.
