They are releasing their first single "Square Eyes" and performing in HMV, Liverpool One, tomorrow. They are also performing at Mannifest in August and supporting The Happy Mondays on September 9th at the Villa Marina with their debut LP "19 Hours" being released on the following day. HMV in The Strand centre will see them performing live to celebrate this launch. THE SOVIET Any thoughts, good, bad or indifferent appreciated ... ...GOMH*... oogie boogie Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Square Eyes isn't bad. I hear a lot of Weller and Ocean Colour Scene in there. It would be nice if the sound opened up alot more in the chorus, similar to Primal Screams Rocks or the female backing vox of 20th Century Boy.
