TheDruid-3X3
Awens to All: I am having my First Dinner with Steamed Corn on the Cob that I Grew from my Allotment and it has occurred to me: 'Does Any Farms On Our IOM Grow Corn for the Manx Farmers Markets?' So are there any Farms there that Grow Corn? 3X3

quilp
Plenty of corn in local politics... http://www.asmanxasthehills.com/corn-law-riots-of-1821/ Shops and businesses ransacked, men in women's clothes, crazed Peel women seeing-off the Yeoman Calvary, storming the gaol, overpowering the guards and releasing the captive and general civil unrest and mad-doggery: oh yes, heady stuff... Donald Trumps
I've seen corn growing in a field opposite Knockaloe in the past
TheTeapot
AFAIK no one grows it commercially here, although it may be grown down north for animal feed. Lots of hobbyists and allotment growers go in for it though, its very easy to grow and will produce a lot of baby corn, need a good summer for proper big juicy corns, which doesn't happen too often.
