studmuffin Posted September 14, 2007 Share Posted September 14, 2007 Trying to stop smoking, patches didnt do it for me last time so doctor put me on Champix. 9 Days in and feel terrible, only for about half an hour after taking them, cold sweats, nausea, dizzy Any one else in forums land tried this? It may slow down your body digesting them so not making you feel so sick. I take mine 7am and 7pm. Can feel a little sick for a while after but it passes. Weird dreams are the worst side effect I am experiencing Been taking mid morning, so will try with meals. Nurse said to try big glass of water. Totally stopped smoking, no urges whatsoever, I stopped taking 2 weeks ago and still no problems. DONT take them on an empty stomach. If you take one just after eating you should be fine. You might as well stick to the ciggies, it's cheaper than than paying the extra premium for all the claims you've made for replacement household furniture that caught fire (accidentally) of course!
