  1. AJ Butchers pies and stuff are good. Their jumbo sausage roll is a meal in itself and gives you pork sweats.
  2. Georgina was a spunky girl. Lashings of ginger beer. Still gives me a childish giggle.

No, the culprits are criminals who believe they deserve other people's stuff. Most poor people don't go on the rob.
  4. I see Dr G is now tweeting that Paul Moulton's new channel is effectively paid-for Government propoganda, but without the (sorry) health warning about not being impartial.
  5. Maybe because English clearly isn't your first language? Inaccreate? Baggers?
  6. It should be on your bucket list if you've never been in a helicopter and can afford it. VTOL is a blast.
  7. So your 'career' statement to Manx Radio's election form is a lie? 'He's a part-time cleaner, graphic designer and illustrator and has two dogs.'
  8. Meanwhile, Mrs Scrunge cut herself today peeling spuds. They should ban all sharp implements too.
  9. Very interesting. I might take WB's wager. Great to see McLaren back in the chase too.
  10. Some people are nice. I was going to ask if you could maybe eat the animals....
  11. Strange. I'm 66 and haven't even had a letter, never mind an appointment.
  12. It's AfriKa now if you're woke. Apparently the 'c' was a European modification and colonial white supremacy toxic male blah blah thingummy.
  13. One thing is for sure, the vast overspend and under delivery won't ever be the fault of the politicians or the civil service, it'll be the contractors (see Richmond Hill for modus operandi).
  14. Oh, so THAT'S what tongue in cheek means. I hoped you were suggesting something carnal...
  15. Can Dilli make frothy coffee?

Just a wild guess, but I wonder if the supplier refused to be bullied by some untouchable CS mandarin into putting right what had been incorrectly specified by the relevant department and so the taxpayer is having to pay to have a second set of slides manufactured using more carefully drawn plans?

  18. Lots of science - and I'm no scientist but as an expert in bullshit detection see much of it as self-serving and spurious. 97% of scientists agreed there was climate change, not that it was caused by mankind. Look at the predictions made by Al Gore - nothing but scare tactics.
  19. Does it need saving though? It's just a changing climate, and we get that twice a year already. Sure, there will be some areas of the world where it's a problem and mankind will have to come up with further ways to adapt there (sea walls, air coolers etc). But other areas will benefit - Siberia could become the bread basket of the world and a place people actually want to move to. So forget about saving the planet. Mankind simply needs to adapt better to natural and cyclical changes. Ideally not by being conned into being taxed further trillions by politicians who will do nothing but come up with increasingly alarming reports and promises they're the only ones who can fix things.
  20. Many of us don't deny that climate change is a real thing, what we deny is that it's man-made and that pouring billions into the CC industry is going to make a jot of difference. Instead of scare tactics (Extinction my arse) people should be promoting the other positives of renewables - cleaner air, less pollution etc. But that wouldnt give the protesters the mandate to rant so much.
