  1. Watched Superbad again last night. It was as funny as I remember it being.
  2. Watched Let The Right One In last night. Definately not as scary as everyone has made out. I didn't really see it as a horror, more a really dark love story. Brilliant film though, I don't think they'll capture the same charm and atmosphere of the film with the Hammer remake http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7987221.stm Also revisited Candyman the other night. Hellraiser is probably my favourite horror film, Clive Barker really is brilliant. As soon as Candyman spoke at the start of the film it brought back memories of watching the film when I was younger and I was scared again.
  3. Patsy Kensit gets them out in Lethal Weapon 2? I need to see this film again I'd forgotten she was even in it.
  4. Brilliant Cliff! If I fill that balloon with Helium I can make it look like they're walking along with me.
  5. Going to sit down and watch Let The Right One In finally. I really want to see UP, I'm 26, will it looks odd if I don't bring a child with me?
  6. Run Lola Run is one of my favourite films ever, I'll give this one a go.
  7. Rock I never found Napolian Dynamite that funny either. I don't understand it. The Bourne films are very good, I have a Bourne book that isn't a film, it would be good if they made that aswell.
  8. Severance was alright. It did enjoy the way the suspense is building and you get slapped square in the face with a comic line to bring you right back down to earth. Leaving the guys leg in the van was brilliant.
  9. I sat down to watch 50 First Dates last week. I'd been put off by a lot of Adam Sandlers recent work, namely Click and Don't Mess with the Zohan but much to my surprise I found this quite funny and enjoyed the idea behind the story and Rob Schneider was finally funny again. (I never felt there was a need for a Duece Bigalow sequel) More films on Friday night I will sit my significant other down and revisit Fear and Loathing.
  10. Mr Sausages, Rise of the Footsoldier is very good. I'd reccomedn trying Gommorah aswell. Film based on a novel about the Neopolitan Mafia. Miss Take just had a look, aye they're releasing it in two parts. The first part is due for release in 19 November 2010, the second part in 15 July 2011. Radcliffe could be in Betty Ford by the time the last part comes out.
  11. Aren't they splitting the last book into two films? Bare in mind here i'm not a massive potter fan, just caught the last two films. Is this one half of the last book?
  12. aye the new Harry Potter was good. I preferred the order of the pheonix but, this new one has definately got me set up for the last 2.
  13. haha oh hell. I might have to come down and see this mirror image mofo.
  14. watched Pursuit of Happiness last night. Brilliant film, the missus was weeping buckets. I'm not usually a big Will Smith fan, but this was fantastic, top marks to his son for playing the little boy too.
  15. Caught Transformers 2 last night. Really good, I haven't seen the first film but this is pretty self explanitory. I watched Hunger recently, f00king good film.
  16. ya doppleganger gets every where oogie, he was in havana sat night..lol I am sure I seen you walk past havana on saturday or sunday maybe (was the real you not the clone) I think me and the missus walked past on sunday night. Aye i've been breeding an army of clones. A few escape now and again.
  17. haha John sorry mate that wasn't me at the MYG. I've heard about this WH Smith person, I'll have to go and have a gander Saw Sheswiththeband ripped to the tits in the beer tent on sunday. oh I saw GOMH there on sunday too. Clocked Ans sat outside the Rovers on Saturday ( i think it was )
  18. went to the palace last night and watched Taxi Driver. An utter classic, De Niro is brilliant. lalala Off to see Angels and Demons soon.
  19. I've heard about this, I'll get on it!
  20. Kiling Zoe is brilliant. While you're on a Tarantino trip get True Romance out too. Fucking cracking film.
  21. hehe.. I really like Bond films. I thought the last few Brosnan films were going a stray but Casino Royale is really good. I've not seen Quantum yet. Sscott have you seen any of the Bourne films?
  22. haha on that note, how''s Tim the ToolMan Taylor getting on with the DIY?
  23. I've had quite a filmy weekend. The Life of David Gale. Brilliant film with Kevin Spacey playing an anti-death penalty campaigner who finds himself on death row for murder. The film is mainly set in an interview room as he re tells how he ended up where he is to a magazine reporter. With days before his date with the injection, the reporter begins to learn that he is innocent and races against the clock to save him. Spacey is excellent in this film, Kate Winslet is rather good aswell, playing the reporter who becomes increasingly obsessed with proving his innocence. Well well worth a watch. Dark Knight Finally got round to watching this last night. It's good. Ledger was very good indeed, Bale as Bruce Wayne was great, Bale as Batman was a bit pish The deeper voice thing was annoying and, for me, the whole film didn't seem to know where it wanted to go. It was certainly darker than previous Batman films(obviously, being based on the darker story lines from normal batman comics), but it did keep a certain hint of comic book charm to it that prevented the film being a really dark thriller. Overall I thought the film was very good. Morgan Freeman was ace. I didn't even recognise Gary Oldman with that tache, for me Aaron Eckhart as Harvy Dent/Two Face was the best performance in the film.
  24. Life Aquatic is a great little film and Sigur on the OST.
  25. Going to sit the missus down and make her watch Withnail and The Commitments on saturday
