  3. Just saw an interview about Gonzo: The life of Hunter S Thompson and the trailer for Wolverine. Both of them look brilliant. Apparently there's a re make of I Spit on Your Grave coming out next year. Not sure what to make of that yet.

  5. Betty you are truely one of Gods great messagers. I remember hte doughnut place but for years I was convinced we had a Dunkin Doughtnuts over here. DINKYS not DUNKIN. I remember the cinema in strand street having Masters of the Universe on. Which cinema was the one with the balcony? I saw Moonwalker and Snow white in that one. I always thought it was the Palace when they had that massive reception area.

  7. In Bruges is very good. There's a film4 season on tv at the moment, This Is England on tonight. Watched Venus last night which was very good. Peter O' Toole and Leslie Phillips are brilliant in it. Even Uncle Monty makes an appearance I see There's a remake of Rec out called Quarentine, starring Dexters sister. Might have to check it out.
  8. I've been a bit unsure about watching Be Kind Rewind after seeing the review on Film. I think I'll stay clear. I watched Rec recently which is a very good spanish zombie-style horror film. I've also been hitting my Del Toro collection, that mans visions are brilliant, Pans Labrynth and The Orphanage are utterly perfect. Due to some work I'm doing at the moment I've been watching The Exorcist and The Omen a few times. Still want to see Quantum of Solace and Valkryie (sp.?) Oh and have been hitting the 80's a bit too, watching The Goonies last night and the Back to the Future trilogy a week ago.
  9. watched Switchblade Romance the other night. rather good French psychological horror type film. good twist at the end and a shot of a french teenage girl in the shower

  12. a little tip for people with Hostel on DVD. When the guy gets tortured by the german business man, turn the subtitles on. Here you'll find Tarantino wittering utter bollocks
  13. Spartacus, agreed Boy A was fantastic, I too will be checking the book out.
  14. just started a bit of an Arnie binge with a mate and we did The Running Man on Sunday. Great film!
