  1. Battle Beyond the Stars, wow, i had that, Alien, Blazing Saddles, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest and Airplane amongst others on video as a kid, i used to watch them in the mornings when the parents were still in bed. Anyone see BBTS lately? Does it stand up to the test of time? It's one of those classics you never see on any of the Sky movie channels.
  2. Hmmm, i really don't know where i'm at with torture porn, loved Hostel, liked the Saw's (couple of them anyways), big fan of horror films, but think this might just be a bit beyond my ability. Would like to give it a go, but i fear what it would do to me.
  3. Was wondering if it was any good or not, have avoided it because of the cover if i'm honest, as shallow as that sounds. @Militant, why no ickle quick review?
  4. Oldie jus because it ain't a newie, only jus got round to watching it.
  5. Saw Daybreakers on friday, what an absolute pile of shite, bored to death, stupid story, hammy acting. Straight to DVD garbage, avoid. 3/10 Last night saw Dead Mans Shoes, oldie but brilliant, dark and horrible. 8/10 This post is the very reason i will not waste my time with any of these movies.
  6. Saw Antichrist last night, really slow to get going, bored till the last 20 mins. Garbage really, and ffs don't watch it with your mum! Hurt locker was ok, definately not oscar winning class though.
  7. Saw Inglourious Basterds last night. Thought Tarantino was washed up, but this is great. The guy who plays the jew hunter being a particular highlight. QT's best since Pulp Fiction, 9/10.
  8. Must say i think these threads are a waste of time, it should be a way of learning new music but people don't tend to check out the stuff you post. Regardless, this weekend i have been mostly listening to the Best of Bent.
  9. I miss the Academy and the Satelite bar, great nightclub. Low ceiling, fat bass, a pleasure to play in and rave in.
  10. Saw Apocolypto the other night, brilliant i thought. Had heard poor reports bout it which probably helped. But an immensly enjoyable film, violent, gory, great story, well put together. Would recommend definately.
  11. relations (as in i did not have...)
