  1. It’s the Boathouse in PSM, not the Boatyard in Peel that is reducing its opening hours
  2. I was in the Lake District last week and despite the weather Keswick and Ambleside were very busy
  3. Yep if you're working a 37.5 hour week on minimum wage you're just under the higher tax bracket, it's pretty much only under 18s who aren't affected.
  4. Anyone earning more than £10.10 an hour doing a 40 week is impacted. I would suggest that is a lot of people.
  5. I'd think the PSM and PE Co-ops are more likely to affected by the larger PE Tesco than CT Co-op will be by a smaller CT Tesco.
  6. It'll be a Tesco Metro in Castletown so won't be that cheap. Co-op do meal deals.
  7. Castletown Co-op is better than Shoprite/Tesco for parking. Also because it incorporates a post office it gets a lot of footfall from Ballasalla. Plus you have to throw in all the lunchtime trade from Castle Rushen. I think there's room for both
  8. Their shop on Cooil road I should think
  9. Newspapers in physical form are gradually going the way of the dodo.
  10. With Tesco opening soon, it has no chance of surviving
  11. Didn't even know the NSC had a spa suite
  12. IOM Post Office Licensing opposite Ocean Ford is for trade and emergencies only.
  13. He's not anymore and to suggest Living Hope is involved with Riverside and Villa Parilla is very unfair on the other persons involved with the business
