They refunded us for the cancelled flight, and paid the difference for the LCY flights. They pretty much make it up as they go along these days.

Claiming for reasonable expenses and claiming for compo are different animals. It was outside of their control on our flight. They still have a duty to either get you to your destination, or stump up if you pay for it yourself.

Put a claim in. Exactly the same thing happened to us and easyjet paid us the difference

Ballakermeen students told to 'delete and disregard' A-Level results which were sent early - in error - today. They were supposed to be embargoed until 8am tomorrow (17 August) - the Department of Education, Sport and Culture has blamed an 'administrative error'. Students are being asked to attend the school tomorrow as planned to pick up the same results which were emailed earlier today. Were you one of the students emailed in error? Heathrow doesn’t offer a day return option does it? Lunchtime out of here. City works better. Even then, it’s only a couple of days a week out of here as a red eye.
