My experience of americans is much the same. Great prople in the most part. And their childrens knowledge and vocabulary is exceptional . i have always admired how they seem to be so well versed and educated at such young ages. Not always the case i know but generally. Most of us are just decent honest people, we're almost all great really x

I know what you mean barry but no one controls britain. They may think they do but no one has that kind of clout or longevity. And the ephemeral nature of our existence obviously prevents us from ever truly owning land. It was here before us and it will be here when we leave. Yes that is how some view life. It just is the way it is etc. But actually, each individual constitutes the wealth of a nation, and is entitled to their fair share. It just got a bit skewed in the past, and so most people dont really come to that realisation. But how else could it be! Anyway i really recommend that you get a copy of the book, i got mine from the charity shop, as it is fascinating and very insightful x

China i recently had an idea about improving the square ft/mt surveying method, using a phone/camera. Obviously the standard method takes one square, with its recorded results, and either estimates an area from that square or, combines it with others to give an average estimation of an areas population. So, i thought it would be great if we could set up a rig with multiple, moving cameras, each taking enough pics to cover a much broader area, and ghen simply use the pics to zoom in and see whatbwas there when they were taken. Thus giving us a more accurate estimation for the area. Or is that just wishful thinking, or too complicated? What do you think please x
