Who has the wisdom to hold a local event, 20yds from an international race when that race (err, event) is on? You can't make this up! Who is so stoopid to try and do something like this, so close to another, far larger, event? And, yeah, parking is an issue as well as access.... some people just don't think!

Came back on the Manxman last Thurs, earlier sailing than normal. Got to Heysham at about 00:30 (for a 00:45 close). Went straight to queue after Gestapo. Walked out the car and the boat had just berthed (about 00:45). Even the tail hadn't been extended. Next thing unloading vehicles pass by (and NOT that many).... then before 01:15 we was load on board. Absolutely NO freight was taken off, nor was any loaded. Early departure because of tidal issues in Douglas.... barely 60 or so people on boat, a couple dozen rally cars etc.... and I believe the same occurred the following day???? No freight for at least 2 days. is this poor planning or just an "act of God"? Besides that , for the first 20 minutes of the trip, it felt as if we were in a major earthquake, magnitude 9! Bits and bobs were bouncing on the tables - I had to make an appointment with my dentist to get my fillings replaced! Was smooth after about 25 minutes.... Who, which company, cancelled their mini cruise ship contract that we bought into?

Make me holla... they better get them ships cranked up now, get around the "Horn" cuz them Houthis would luv to wear our gear! My money is on 1) being late to the party (as was last year and 2) boring theme as was last year.... oh, 3) NO CHOICE!! China???? FFS! I'd not be surprised the programmes aren't written Chinese!

That f'ing sheep bin tar for 6 f'ing days!!!!! I think this is indicative of the "not my job" which is typical of the MANX mentality! You know how many people walk along there, the Borough regularly clean that area (trash cans).... and that dead carcass is still there? Perhaps the abattoir has found a new dumping ground?!

Because the "commissioners" are responsible for their area. THEY should have called the relevant department... why, oh why are the "authorities" never accountable? Why must private individuals have to do what the commissioners are PAID for? (Although I refuse to listen to local sh!t radio, "cissot" above makes a point.

Well, for the 5th day walking along the Old River walkway, it's been delight after delight to stop and chat with Meg, the dead sheep. She never complains or moves. I think she's being ignored. Can you imagine how lonely she is? I think the Commissioners need to go down and console her. Yet another disgrace where dead animals are left to rot and breed unwanted larvae..... Ramsey Commissioners should be ashamed! 6 days!!!!

So, for all the businesses here, not Bulgaria, if we allow 130 individual companies (let alone the farmers, then what's left? FFS, 200,000litres/50,000gallons/day????? Go get a lesson on quantities..... this is far too much. However, if they decide to collect their own water (and there's alot of clouds about) then that would make sense.... I think you don't get the volume of 1 company.... and I don't care what rate they pay (even though, they will probably get it free if the former CM has anything to do with it).... why would I have to suffer a ban and they would not? One rule for us and no rules for them.
