keyboarder
Get people out of their cars - just for the short journeys mind. An option to walk/cycle without feeling constantly exposed to the stream of right foot heavy drivers and their vehicles wouldn't cost that much to implement and the health benefits would be huge. Or how about a pier to walk on in Ramsey.
Chinahand
Tip #1 Lower the average age (and the health costs), by stopping importing any more pensioners (15% UK population, now 27% IOM population). Resurrecting an old thread: Albert where did you get these figures - I think they are totally incorrect. IOM digest gives Female population over 60 and male population over 65 as being 16,002 - which is 20.0% of the population. UK Key Population and Vital Statistics give the UKs Female population over 60 and male population over 65 as being 11,343,700 which is 18.7%. We do have more pensioners (2%), but nothing like the disparity you are saying we have (12%).
