Tearz
Hello, I'd like to get a couple of quotes for a kitchen extention - and would rather go by word of mouth rather than selecting prospective builders at random from the phone book. Could anyone recommend a builder they may have used in the past for such work? Cheers
When Skies Are Grey
Chris Bridson (CJ Bridson Limited) has done structural stuff at WSAG Towers before and I have had no complaints thus far. 823093

Knoxville
Can we not make a weekend of sledge hammers, drills etc at Chez Tearz? If its anything like the bar building we did, I'm sure it'll be fine

Jimcalagon
This bloke always seem to get results But if a bloke with a nose like a carrot turns up claiming to have something to do with him, tell him to do one - he's a walking disaster area. Overdose
Bell Brothers. Very good quality work, reliable and very competitively priced. Saved over £1k using them for our blockwork on the extension and the quality of work was superb. Will be using them again when we get around to starting our garage. Theodolite
Builders that don't insist on having a radio blaring are usually better. I have found that the music while you work gang are bored and pissed off with their job and not the sort of people best to employ. They will spend most of their time jack-the-ladding it and whistling at your neighbours' daughters, maybe even your neighbours too. If they insist on music while they work they should try an iPod or something.
