Seals At The Calf Of Man

Last Ten

Recommended Posts

I heard they're leaving because of the tax rise. One Island estate agent has said that they're aiming to sell Kitterland for "a hundred million billion trillion pounds".

Some one thinks they are still there

"Take advantage of the walking routes in the area and then grab lunch in The Sound Visitor Centre and keep an eye out for the sharks and even dolphins. The visitor centre has floor to ceiling windows, and a turf roof allowing it to fit in with the landscape while giving visitors 360 degree, panoramic views of the surrounding area including the small islands of Kitterland and the Calf of Man, both of which are home to hundreds of seals."

360 degree views?

Have they re-built the place since I was last there yesterday?

Quick rehash that very succesful press release that everyone believed :-

Seal figures for March are showing a slow and steady recovery for the Seal industry.

Although the number of seals travelling to and from the Island by sea fell slightly last month, the drop was less than expected.

Kitterland handled 500 fewer seals in March compared with the same period last year. It's a fall of less than 1%

Seal Director (insert name) says they had expected a decrease of 2.4%.

Infrastructure minister (insert name) says there's no doubt the seals have had a tough time over the last couple of years but in general Manx seal routes have held up better than most.

Corrected for truth, still has to be one of the most absurd fk ups I've ever seen, is it really that difficult to put the cafe and viewing areas in front of the carpark rather than behind !!
