immortalpuppet
Tynwald mills have a good brand name section for outdoor gear, expensive and there is better gear available online. Not sure about the outdoors shop in the strand.

ACLDM
You're probably better looking at somewhere online like Cunninghams Outdoors http://www.srcunningham.co.uk/ , Gaynors Sports http://www.gaynors.co.uk/ or Go Outdoors http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/ - there's not a lot of choice on the Island and Tynwald Mills is really expensive. Or try a day or two over in the Lake District, plenty of outdoor-clothes shops there!
ACLDM
Sorry, buggered the Gaynors one up - should be http://www.gaynors.co.uk/
sirstabby
heh, I need it for saturday, am marshalling on the mountain, so it gotta be on-island really I've never been a coat person. I'm sure that I have done, but I honestly don't remember wearing any coats in the last ten years except for a geology field trip to arran at university, and even that would have been seven years ago. sirstabby
Oh, didn't realise they were waterproof. I know that I'm being issued with one to pickup on Saturday (it's first time I've done it) but I thought it was basically a hi-viz?

Tempus Fugit
Eden Park had some of the long coats with the cape like thing over the shoulders a while ago, they usually have a selection of that sort of thing, wax jackets etc, not as pricey as Tynwald
ACLDM
Sirstabby, just found out from a mate who marshals - you'll get a high-viz tabard when you sign on. You can apparantly get the orange waterproof jacket from Newsons on the Quay (but you'll have to pay for it). Sorry to give you duff info
