thebees
The fire at the Glasgow art school yesterday is really sad, I love Mackintosh. There was a program on the terrorvisualbox a while ago where some men went climbing on architecturally important buildings, the GAS was the best show of the series, I will try and find a link to it later as it is worth a watch. The floods in Ukraine are mad too and its kicking right off in Thailand. Anything else going on I need to know about?
Donald Trumps
Fire at the GSA was devastating but on the other hand it will allow for some interesting new work in the rebuild Renovation Man George Clark has pledged to help see it restored
The Border Terrier
The fire at the Glasgow art school yesterday is really sad... So too are the alterations to Baillie Scott's former home at the top of Victoria Road. It's supposed to be listed but the current owners are in the process of adding a double garage to the great mans former home. Scandalous... TBT. Donald Trumps
Mind you, saying that - the design work was undoubtedly fantastic but the actual construction wasn't particularly wonderful. I'm convinced that because the construction of the designs was relatively simple they probably gave the work to apprentices to do Remade today, they'd undoubtedly do a finer job
