They appeared to be getting along famously and they both seemed very happy in each others company. At the end of the meal he ostentatiously gave her a huge wad of notes and then they walked out to his car at the same time we were leaving. He was still smiling happily as they drove away although she looked a little embarrassed. Not sure if she was one of the overt escorts mentioned on here, or if she was from a more discrete provider, or even if she was an escort at all (there could have been a completely innocent reason for the transaction), but it did make me wonder how prevalent this whole "escort" thing was on the island. I remember years ago, a friend telling me that her and her mate from school used to sleep with men in the Port St Mary area to get money from ciggies and vodka, but I assumed that she was exaggerating the story for effect, but maybe I'm just being very naive about these things, and its happening all the time on the island?
