Travelling Wrong Way on 'The Course'

The TM was escorting marshals from the Creg along the mountain, they were held there due to a two car collision somewhere up there and they had to wait until the scene had been cleared by the police. There was no two way traffic as the marshals from Ramsey were held until the Creg convoy had passed into Ramsey. This isn't much different to how the marshals convoys work at the TT.

But is it true ? Why can't someone confirm or deny this ?

Just lift that carpet up and get it swept under!

As funny as that post is, it may not be far from the truth.

BTW, when are we ever likely to hear the truth about this?

So, after all the shite about the Mercer thing, people can STILL travel against the course direction. ONLY HERE...…………………. WTF

Yeah he or she is just the latest pseudonym of someone who is totally and utterly obsessed with a hatred of the racing and is determined to force their opinion onto everyone else.

Probably somebody who has moved over here and bought a house on the course without the wit to realise they'll be stuck in during the races (not that they seem to have much better to do) and is now devoting the rest of their lives to whinging about it in various thinly veiled ways.

You really don't like it when people question  you're beloved races, do you?

So they weren't travelling against the course?

And that is exactly what was said after the Mercer thing. NOBODY will be allowed to travel against the direction of the course.

( which should be fucking obvious before any enquiry )

Although the road was closed to the public, it wasn't a 'live' race track so to speak. It was being used as a normal public road would be, except that the traffic was being escorted along it. That is how the marshals always get into position when there is the one way system in place at the TT.

travelling anticlockwise under a TM escort isn't an issue.

It really doesn't bother me one bit. Everyone's is entitled to their opinion.  I just think it's a bit sad when someone with so little support for theirs, that they have  to reinvent themselves any number of times with a new pseudonym to make their opinion look more popular than it is and then invent numerous virtuous reasons for their opinion to make it more credible than it is.

And then constantly and anonymously whinge on a public forum about it.

Haven't you got a hobby of your own you could use to occupy your time? Basket weaving or jam making or something? Perhaps joint the bridge club .

I really think it would be better for your mental health to obsess with something you are more positive about.

No one will  forget you, we'll all remember that you don't like the TT/MGP - but your life will be a more positive and fulfilling experience - doing something positive with like minded people. You could even start baking cakes to put your jams on  I think you'd really enjoy it.

What does that mean? If you're going to accuse me of being a 'sock puppet'  come out and say it.
