they have  limits in F1 by limiting fuel use and engine size,  the problem nowadays is a 600 can do what a 1000 was doing a few years ago.

Even limiting the bikes to 250cc won't see much difference in casualty rates but it would allow  tehnology and skill to play a bigger part.

Indeed. Somebody loses their life and the usual fuckwits are all over it... :(

This is the problem. The ones shouting about it are the ones who want it banned and for the deaths to stop yet the followers the die hards, you don’t hear a dickie bird because they did what they loved but yet they know, they know that it’s all fucked up but don’t want to say anything. They are voyeurs of death, perpetuating the myth, keeping the death toll alive.

What absolute bollocks. This lad came half way around the world to do what he did. He knew exactly what he was doing.

How many die in needless conflicts? If you only want the death to stop why not ban them?

Some people like to live a safe and nannied life, others prefer things closer to the edge. Perhaps you need to get on with your own life and stop trying to tell others how to live theirs.

As Guy Martin said, " if it's too dangerous for ya, go and mow your lawn and let us get on with it ".

Go and do it in your lawn, not MY lawn.
