wrighty
You pay a monthly fee for Amazon Video/Music, and Netflix if you want it. You don’t need an aerial connection at all, just a good wifi and broadband connection. It’ll probably connect to a Sky box, but not directly to the satellite feed. John Wright
Just now, LightBulb said: So can you still get BBC and ITV chanels ? The TV has a tuner, so you’ll get terrestrial channels via an aerial, or satellite channels if you have a sky box via a dish. So you’ll get standard free to view channels. Youll need an internet connection for Alexa to work. There are free apps you can install, but Netflix, Amazon or Britbox are subject to subscription. Yes - the firestick I use has apps for the bbc iplayer, itv play, channel 4, and 5 I think (never tried that one). You can use them to watch live or catch up. prism10
No fee for Alexa. You just connect it to wifi. No fee required for Fire TV, you will have apps such as BBC, ITV. However you need to pay a subscription for Amazon TV unless you pay for Amazon Prime then certain but not all content is included.
