    I thought the keeping parents outside the cage thing was just part of the 3 week respect campaign? I would have preferred to keep all parents further away during my time coaching 😀.

    It used to be a required for cup games only to have a rope. Might have changed now. There was a push pre covid to get everything upgraded like this to go to next "step" (5??) But that seems to have gone quiet

    Both Ballafletcher, St George's, Rushen, St John's. St Marys. Peel is roped off. Old Boys has a natural barrier with the bank. Half the top flight clubs anyway.

    Corinthians do have 1 of those Veo cameras that tracks the ball. Wonder if it tracks the referee running 50 yards off the pitch?

    Vaping in toilets is a massive problem. 1 high school actually got so bad they wanted to turn off the smoke alarms in the toilets at 1 point.

    The IOMB systems are a complete shambles. Old and clunky. And updating their records isn't easy Having almost all their staff WFH permanently must be saving a fortune in building costs though. Hooyou is definitely legit. However given it sounds Chinese its causing gammons a lot of worries

    It's a very good question. I think there's people capable of motivating these lads and coaching a better style of play. Finding someone who's work will enable them to attend the 2 6am starts and Saturdays and midweek games away mean Bass is the only 1 able to do it.

    Not sure they can mix it up? Doyle, Davies, Murray and Kelly are a great 4 when available. The worry is the midfield being severely wakened when Camarda, Crook, Baines and Batty are all away and looks very weak. Good win that without a recognised "big man".

    You've hit the nail on the head here. The only option is to train the kids better and get them incorporated in the team. The current FA COE system is not fit for purpose and is foremost a money making scheme for the FA. The under 21s training that's in the pipeline will help. But will it help enough?

    That's definitely the case for play offs, the league games aren't split like that at all.

    Exactly. I doubt there was much grumbling from the Grosvenor last night. The quality in the league has clearly dropped (it was dropping anyway). Its actually made it more competitive.

    The West Didsbury fans were excellent, lots of homework done on the chants. Shame it's only them that had any decent numbers. New Mills fans were dull. Just 1 mouthy bloke.

    Hopefully Whitley, Doyle and Simpson return from Vegas unscathed. Interesting how Bass treats them given he's dropped people before for being unavailable

    Very enjoyable night last night. Bigger crowd than League 2 fixture isn't to be sniffed at. West Didsbury showed how you can create an atmosphere without stupid drums and air horns. Giving kids something to aspire to and should be applauded, hopefully this is the start of something great for the island.

    Yep. Loads of lads in there tested positive, they also went to 1886 after...there will be nowhere open soon. Unless all your staff are 2 plus 2 then you can't survive. By my reckoning most of the under 50s aren't 2 plus 2 yet.
