  1. Write to the HBN Trust and ask them directly - https://www.hbnhealthcaretrust.org.im
  2. Maybe his family have requested his passing to be kept between family and friends!
  3. Perhaps you need to be an adviser on the Isle of Man Emergency Services forum, they are obviously missing something... like your opinion! #justsaying
  4. Maybe the Police need to view the CCTV footage of this place and knock on a few of the doors of these irrisponsible individuals..
  5. Because the tide could have possibly dragged the car into the Harbour resulting in the Ben my Chree being unable to berth, it doesn't matter how much it cost, all expenses will be forwarded to the car owners insurance company, and thats why this R plate drivers insurance will cost a fortune to renew, thats if his/her licence is still valid and not taken away before renewal!!!
  6. This amount of money would fund a small dedicated Gov department team to concentrate on footpath clearance on a weekly all year round basis, why have they farmed it out to some volunteers with a contract price as stated in the newspaper article?? Time for Tim Crookall to get a grip and either justify it or bin it!
  7. I wonder who will be the first to jump ship and and return to what they were elected to be??
  8. One thing that I really do hope is that Cregeen doesn't try his hand in trying to go via the back door to get into LEGCO, his history of massive calamities as a Minister speaks for themselves and I am sure the new and existing female MHK's will understand that he has treated them so bad in the past with his rather aggressive views and arrogant ways in the way he has responded to their questionoing. He needs to dust off his painters overalls and get on painting or even going back to being a Postie.
  9. I have one question: What does the Children's Champion and Onchan MHK have to say in all of this?
  10. Errrm have you seen the North West Area Plan? Things are 'not' fairly good, these existing and prospective candidates are deaf to the issues facing their constituents, they have no opinion to tell us about the issues facing the possible major expansion of these small communities. They at present are not fit for purpose as they are totally embroiled in the Ministerial black hole and forgotten us mere mortals. Baker and Cannan are not here for us at all, so our votes in my house go to anyone, yes anyone who opposes them.
  11. Alf is a nice bloke in fairness, will promise you all sorts, Mr nice guy, however he is totally sucked into the IOM Governments Ministerial black hole system and as such he is a total fucking disaster as a constituency MHK. You vote him back and you can expect exactly the same for the next 5 years.... Think hard peeps. iIronically Baker is the same, but I am not sure if he is standing at all? If the truth knows neither is he, to busy cycling and bible bashing. Vote wisely.
  12. Would you really expect this behaviour from a national politician? I really hope not, we're in a right mess on the Isle of Man at present and we could do with some really savvy forward thinking candidates, not these homophobic, silly jibe lunatics that are prevalent on social media at present.
  13. Mr Flint are you positively sure? Stand by your statement if you agree.
  14. Cannan and Baker have totally forgotten about Sulby, Ballaugh and Michael, they have been sucked into Ministerial roles and forgotten the people who put them there. My family will not vote for either of them, Mr Cannan wanted to be a Chief Minister 5 years ago, if that happens again, it's another 5 years of Cannan being out of touch with his constituents (10 years in total) What a total freaking joke. No matter what, anyone is better than these two YES men!! Live by the sword Cannan and Baker - Die by the sword.

    Sure vs MT

I am unlimited Standard and was wondering if I downgrade to the Basic, I can save a few bob, but more interested if the 3mbs max download is a step backwards and wondered has anyone noticed any real difference?

    Sure vs MT

I was going to change my plan to Sure with the unlimited basic for £20 but it says you only get 3mbs download speeds, anyone had any problems with this?
  17. Close the border in total except for freight and medical reasons, we don't need freakin welders and the likes. Let's hope that this total calamity will pass. CoMin get some balls and shut everyone out now!
  18. I think it happened around 7pm ish, hope all concerned OK
  19. So what you are saying is let the Commissioners do what they want? Add the odd 'classic crab mentality' into your reply and that makes it better? Port Erin residents and indeed anyone has the right to question these type of Grand proposals and you're just saying let them do it, even if it is an eyesore and a blot on the Port Erin Landscape. Are you possibly a Port Erin Commissioner?
  20. Also the small road to this proposal, and as you say the car park facilities at present does not support such a large structure/establishment, the structure is not within keeping of the surrounding area and I have to question why such a grand scheme as opposed to a more in keeping facility would be more delicate to such a small seaside establishment. This is a very large structure and I do question who in the Commissioners are pushing for such a large eyesore or maybe they are playing tactics going for large and later accepting a smaller building. I also would like to know what the knock on ££ effect for Port Erin Rate Payers?? Anyway they have 9 Commissioners in Port Erin so one of them may come on here and help us out.
  21. Blinkin 9 of them! Thanks TheTeaPot
  22. Can someone tell me who are the Commissioners of Port Erin? it would be nice to email them and maybe point them to this forum. Also do we know who the Architect is as it maybe them that are pushing the Commission's in this direction. I may consider approaching the Captain of the Parish to see if he could call a public meeting with these Commissioners so we can actually question them on this proposal.
  23. I sort of agree but this is a Manx branded Fyn Gin which we all cannot get away from the fact it is very, very expensive. I have compared it to Gordons Vs Fynoderee and I believe Gordons shine through for less than half the price! Wish I could have reported the Manx Gin being better value and quality but I cannot. Good luck to you loyal Fynoderee supporters :-) I liked it but not at that price.
  24. I hear your reasoning Mad Manx but in reality it is still a very dear product, I bought it as a treat and in fairness it's not outstanding in taste and therefore its the cheaper Gordons for us in the future, I have paid for a Manx brand and a bit of spiel about a Manx fairy Lol.
  25. Tesco 1 Lite Gordons Gin - £18 Fynoderee 70cl Gin £36 (Shoprite) I would say its twice the price at least so won't be buying this Manx brand again!
