  4. He took a very active part in sorting out the mess at the MEA after it all went wrong, - and he took NO payment for years of work on that board. Unlike previous board members who paid themselves handsomely for being on all sorts of committees of the MEA.
  5. Tommy was found dead with his faithful dog by his side in the underground tunnel where he used to live on King Edward Road above the former Howstrake Holiday Camp, many, many years ago! LT That was Tommy Hammond. Bike, dog, Howstrake death etc. Tommy Joughin was the blacksmith in Market Strand Street - worked with his father Andy Joughin.
  6. From my short stint as God in the seventies, I am allowed to tell you about your universe. It is an atom, inside the wooden leg of a chair. All the other atoms in that leg are also universes, and indeed are all the atoms where the chair is situated. Which is in a small country cottage in an area not entirely similar to Dorsetshire. And naturally, every atom inside you, and all that surrounds you, is also a complete universe, in which there are huge woodeny things like chairlegs each containing trillions of universes. Take care of that chair.

  8. I heard some fantastic music in a foreign bar recently. I asked the waiter who it was, and he wrote down "The Walkabouts" No idea what the album etc was, and I see they are a Seattle based group and have released loads of albums over the years. Does anyone know their music, and which is the best one to start with?
