  1. If you're down this way the Bradda is good, also for the price the Falcon is a bargain @ £8.00 and was spot on for the price although the chef has changed again since I was last there. Bradda Glen is probably my back up option Is the Falcon a carvery or a plate of roast dinner? carvery

  3. Have you seen American cars? Not a chance the majority of them would pass an emissions test if they're not up to the same tricks, Or conveniently in another testing bracket.
  4. Move on would be good for a Manx round about. It's a give way, not a stop for some you can just about make out coming over the horizon
  5. The waste land at the end is owned by the DOI currently used for storing bits of Ramseys pier of all things. There's loads of room there. I don't see the problem.
  6. Saw (grand thread resurrection btw)
  7. Never had a problem with any of the food in the Cherry, think main course only is just under a tenner. Like Rhumsaa says they always have beef cooked a few ways, along with lamb, pork, ham and Turkey. The Bradda is a set price of about £17.90 ish for 3 courses I was up again on Sunday and couldn't fault it and now word is getting round it's getting busier each week, nice to see the place getting used to its potential.
  8. The Bradda Glen is under new ownership and does a good carvery, with a great buffet style starter selection. I've been a few times recently and not been dissapointed. The Cherry Orchard is also still spot on for Sunday carvery. Booking is required for both.
  9. They seem a bit random to be honest, some times good some times very slow, guessing it depends if the agent is heading down south or not. I think someone on here said in the past that it all goes to Manx Indies and the agents collect from there. Annoyingly the web site tracker thingy tells you things have been delivered when they haven't.
