Are you saying it's nothing to do with the best programme on any radio station anywhere in the world - namely 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' - on which every letter received by Humphrey Littleton is written by your namesake?

I bet you don't get the jokes on there either.

Of course I do... and I recycle them and use them on the forum as if they were my own - just as you do with the ones in the Beano when you've finished reading it!

Mine supposed to be Carter, but i messed me pass word up somewhere.

Anyway, i chose Carter as he is a character in the Jennings books i collect.

Errrmmmm... So do I! Mouldy chizz!

Does Pemberton-Oakes know you sneak out here, apart from sneaking out to Chas. E. Lumley's for your home made cakes and bicycle repairs?

Three cheers for EBay and AB Books!

Dear Lezayre8,

I do watch the wireless a lot. That Humphrey Littlejohn plays a mighty violoncello, doesn't he?

I also like it when he plays games like Gorgonzola Gorge, One Song to the Beat of A mother and Mornington Square.

I'm so glad I've found someone like-minded.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Trellis from North Wales.
