Mission Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 Heh, why Mission? I'd had enough of forums around Christmas 2003 / New Year 2004 and had decided to 'leave'. This however, lasted all of a week and I came up with the mad idea of making 10,000 posts in a month and decided to make it a 'Mission' hence the name Mission - I had a webspace and everything too! Oh, and a logo... Sadly, my mission faltered somewhat, with the regulars guessing who I was pretty quickly and certain other members taking offence at my carpet bombing of manx.net on a daily basis. I did reach the 10,000 posts but it took me a little longer than a month (4 months iirc). After a string of usernames and gimmick accounts, I thought it was time to stick with one and decided that as Mission was the most recent (and prolific) that I'd stick with it...
