Have I read that right? You have Italian citizenship and describe yourself as bilingual in English and Spanish, but not Italian? How did that happen???? All the best with your job search.. but if the work permit department comes under pressure to reduce the numbers of new permit issued...

I am direct descendant from Italian familly, but born in a Spanish speaking country :), so I got the Italian citizenship automatically... Like everyone upto 2 generations down.... so anyone with an Italian parent or grandfather, get the Citizenship if they can prove the birth of the Italian relatives.

I understand Italian but don't speak it well as my Italian familly speak good spanish :)

Good luck Salamandrix.

The one thing I recommend is to familiarise yourself with the Work Permit system. It's a barrier to businesses that makes it harder to employ adequately qualified people who haven't been born here. A prospective employer would have to get one for you, but if you know how it works it can help set your expectations: http://www.gov.im/dti/employmentrights/workpermits.xml

I'd recommend checking out a couple of the local recruitment agencies and the Job Centre. You can get an idea online at the following URL's but it's always best to go have a chat with the recruiters and build a relationship with them:

http://www.hamblin.co.im/

http://www.ambitions.co.im/

http://www.link.co.im/

In the meantime, I'll keep an ear open and let you know if I hear anything

Buona fortuna. Spero che trovi un lavoro che ti piace.

But you haven't listed any qualifications in your lengthy CV, just experiences.

You write passable English, are Italian but don't speak Italian.

All a bit suspect, as is the way any employer might look at things. Best of luck.

I didn't post a CV, just a general idea of my skills....

My English skills are enough to Teach English, I have Proficiency level. But ur English reading skills...

If u read with more attention.... I wrote that I would send a full CV to serious people or companies interested in me... Any Nucklehead knows I didn't post a CV... and not in Public here... ;)
