Would the CIA be so stupid as to execute a 54 year old unarmed man with poor health who had vital al-Qaeda intelligence? Probably. However I reckon it's a PR smokescreen. He'll be holed up in some interrogation room with a car battery wired to his nuts while they extract every bit of info he knows. Then they'll dump him at sea.

The more you see of the footage of him holed up in his hovel....the greater the feeling that this bloke wasnt tbe mastermind behind the September 11th attacks.

I mean the bloke cant even assemble a decent TV/HiFi Unit, let alone a crack team of hijackers.

Same could be said about Bush/Iraq/shoelaces. They're figureheads.

Well seems idiotic to spend all that effort and money to pop him in the head when they could take him away for questioning and spin a cover story.

Even though we both speak the same language, it's amazing how there are some subtle differences between American-English and proper English:

They say "sidewalk" we say "pavement"

They say "pants" we say "trousers"

They say "buried at sea" we say "naked and chained to a metal bed frame with a car battery connected to his bollocks whilst being beaten for answers".

What's with the 'We'?. Don't you mean 'Ve'?

We say label - you say: Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz

"Buried at sea" is a bit of a misnomer anyway. It's more "Tossed into sea" or "Dumped into sea" than buried. Unless they dive to the bottom and dig a grave. Regardless of tossed over board or buried 50m under the sea an illegal Spanish trawler will soon find it. If it's true :o
