Albert Tatlock
I hope they are not putting the escorts on the bill like they did in Cannes Won't it just show up as a group b hire car? And it'll now be a focus. More like Mercedes and Celica...also are girls names.
Manx Bean
Be interesting to know what they spend on island too...like the cost of laying on the Tynwald Garden Party, Banquet...not to mention the cost of hosting the guests that come over for an all expenses paid jolly over Tynwald week...including staff sleeping over at a Douglas hotel if they work late so they don't have to drive home....honest. Great question. Those of course would be parliamentary expenses and wouldn't appear in the budget of any government department. There must be a tidy sum lavished in the way you describe that passes completely under the radar because it isn't government expenditure.
cheesypeas
Well I bet they were not staying in a Travelodge. Business class all the way old chums and don't spare the champers what what I hope they are not putting the escorts on the bill like they did in Cannes Sorry to disappoint, but I know one department that does a fair bit of travel, and they mostly use Premier Inn. Non-Believer
Now, now, we should know that we've got to keep the perks rolling. It's important to keep morale up for Govt. workers in these difficult times of uncertainty...
Wann
I wonder if Bill Malarkey has been promised a Commonwealth Parliamentary Association trip yet. He sold his soul and what dignity he may have had to go on one of those.
