How do you know its jihadis? It's an attack on a synagogue in Austria, could well be Nazi's.

So far the authorities haven't said anything about who it was.

Edit - Seems to be a whole bunch of shootings, not just an attack on a synagogue. Apologies.

On that we are in complete agreement. A phobia though is a fear rather than discrimination, meaning that people will seek to avoid what is causing the fear, whether it is rational or irrational. I'm sure that could be interpreted as discrimination.

Sure, but most of the stuff referred to as "phobia" has nowt to do with fear and a lot to do with discrimination. Nobody is actually afraid of gay people, for example.

For the prior question re: Racism and the Jewish - lots of stuff gets called anti-semitism. Including anti-zionism, which is different.

Quite frankly it doesn't matter what it's called, nothing or nobody can justify the taking of human life on religious grounds. I can think of a lot of names for the perpetrators of such acts.

As for gay phobia, there are people who for some reason are revolted by gay people. Probably because of indoctrination more than anything else. Hopefully we are slowly coming out of that era!

Unfortunately Poland has a populist conservative Government who have been trying to ensure that they control everything and have removed the independence of the countries Courts.  Similar to many other countries the major cities are actually pretty liberal but the rural communities are more easily led to hating the unknown.
